Roof Dryer Vent Cleaning in Studio City, CA

Why does a roof dryer vent clog faster than a wall vent?
Gravity. Air carries lint up the riser while the dryer runs. The blower stops, the column of air stops, and that lint falls back down. It settles at the base of the vertical and at the first elbow above the appliance. A low wall cap sheds some debris outward on its own. A roof termination never does. On hillside and multi-story homes here, those vertical runs are the standard arrangement, and they are the ones people forget.
Moisture makes it worse. A duct that passes through an unconditioned attic runs cooler than the exhaust inside it. Lint sticks to damp metal and pastes into a felt layer. Brushing dry lint is easy. Removing that layer takes a rotating brush on flexible rods, worked from both the roof cap and the appliance end, with the vacuum pulling at the bottom so debris does not stay in the wall.
Check your cap. Any screen or mesh over a dryer termination will load up with lint and is not right for dryer exhaust. Broken louvers invite bird and rodent nesting. Ash and dust from valley air coat the flapper until it stops closing.
Single-family roof runs generally want clearing every 12 months. Stacked condo units, long runs with several elbows, pet households, and large families run closer to 6-9 months.

What Happens After You Call Us
Call and tell us where the dryer sits and where the vent exits, roof, wall, or soffit. We book a two hour arrival window and text you when the van leaves for your address.
We look at the full run, check the airflow at the hood, and give you a firm price before any tool comes off the truck. The estimate is free, and the number moves only on visible issues.
We pull the lint, reattach the hose with a metal clamp, run the dryer to confirm the flap opens, and vacuum what fell. You pay the quoted price, not a dollar more.
